Synopsis

BE ABOUT IT follows two families fighting the battle against a deadly virus.

Alan is a TV news reporter who regularly monitors his health. Several members of his family have suffered from and died as a result of the hepatitis B virus (hep B). AJ is a radiologist and triathlete who doesn't think hep B will affect him. Liver cancer took his father from him 10 years ago. Can these men triumph over this silent epidemic?

Often stigmatized and rarely discussed, hep B is the most common cause of liver cancer among Asian Americans, yet most don’t even know they are infected. Through the lives of these two fathers, we witness how hope and healing can help them emerge from adversity.
