Direct from the Sundance Film Festival, this kinky documentary produced by actor/director James Franco will have you looking at the darker side of pornography in a whole new light. KINK tells the true story of sex, submission, and big business as seen through the eyes of the unlikely pornographers whose nine-to-five work days are spent within the confines of the San Francisco Armory building, home to the sprawling production facilities of Kink.com, the world's largest producer of pornography with BDSM themes — for the uninitiated, that stands for bondage and discipline/dominance and submission/sadism and masochism.

Director/cinematographer Christina Voros's feature debut ventures behind the scenes with the Kink creative team and the models for a frank look at the professional side of sexual exploration. Voros discovers a charming band of outsiders full of humor and insight working in a fantasyland of graphic sexual imagery. Finally, a "feel-good" documentary with enough screams to play in our HIFF Extreme program!
