Direct from the Sundance Film Festival, this kinky documentary produced by actor/director James Franco will have you looking at the darker side of pornography in a whole new light. KINK tells the true story of sex, submission, and big business as seen through the eyes of the unlikely pornographers whose nine-to-five work days are spent within the confines of the San Francisco Armory building, home to the sprawling production facilities of, the world's largest producer of pornography with BDSM themes — for the uninitiated, that stands for bondage and discipline/dominance and submission/sadism and masochism.

Director/cinematographer Christina Voros's feature debut ventures behind the scenes with the Kink creative team and the models for a frank look at the professional side of sexual exploration. Voros discovers a charming band of outsiders full of humor and insight working in a fantasyland of graphic sexual imagery. Finally, a "feel-good" documentary with enough screams to play in our HIFF Extreme program!
