Expecting a partnership in his New York City law firm Sam (Daniel Henney of MY LOVELY SAMSOON), an ambitious attorney finds himself instead asked to go to Shanghai to help a very important client there. With much reluctance he goes on the premise that he would be able to return after three months. Upon arrival he finds that he has bitten off more than he can chew.

With an upset client and his job at stake, Sam must reach out to the few friends he has met in this foreign land: Amanda, a relocation specialist, Donald, the mayor of American Town, and a mysterious man known only as Awesome Wang. As Sam struggles to get himself out of his legal mess he finds himself slowly falling in love. Can he save it all, his job, his reputation and most importantly his newfound love?
